I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York with Puerto Rican and African American roots, my identity serves as a compass guiding my decisiveness, resoluteness, and resilience. This foundation, rooted in heritage, pays homage to those who paved the way for my success. My creative journey began in childhood when I immersed myself in painting, sketching, design, and cooking. Initially drawn to the culinary world, my path shifted as I explored architecture, a suggestion from my mother and teachers. The search led me to Howard University, where I discovered a profound connection to the process and creativity of architecture and design. The consistent thread woven throughout my artistic journey finds its roots in storytelling and the pursuit of connection across the past, present, and future. My journey, marked by twists and turns, is ultimately an exploration and expression of self. I seek to offer a platform for myself and others to project their identities. God resides in the details, and through my creative endeavors, I strive to illuminate the intricate beauty that surrounds us all.

I’m committed to advancing the field of design through research, education, advocacy, and a continuously expanding design prowess that crosses various disciplines of design which include architecture, fashion design, graphic design, etc.
